Trust & safety

Safety, verification and integrity at QLICA.

This page describes how the QLICA platform is being designed. Capabilities are in active development and not all are commercially available today.

Our Approach

Nightlife should feel exciting without sacrificing trust. QLICA is being designed so that safety and integrity controls are part of the core product rather than features added later.

Our approach spans three layers: the account, the ticket, and the venue. Each layer is being built with its own controls, review paths and record-keeping.

Identity & Age Verification

QLICA can use trusted identity verification providers to support identity and age verification. Verification may be performed through third-party identity verification providers rather than by QLICA directly.

Age eligibility checks are being designed so events can apply the age requirements they operate under, and so guests understand those requirements before purchase.

Ticket Integrity

Tickets issued through QLICA are being designed as dynamic digital access credentials rather than static images, with transfers and resale handled inside the platform under organizer-defined rules.

No system can eliminate misuse entirely. QLICA's aim is to make tickets accountable — traceable to an account, validated at entry, and reviewable if something is disputed.

Venue Safety Tools

QLICA is being built with venue-side tooling for entry management, capacity visibility, staff access scoping, incident reporting and restriction workflows.

These tools are designed to support the venue's own policies and the decisions of its security and management teams.

Account Protection

Accounts are being designed with role-based access, session controls and least-privilege permissions for staff and business users.

Sensitive actions are being designed to require re-authentication and to be recorded in audit trails.

Fraud Prevention

QLICA is developing fraud prevention mechanisms covering purchase, transfer, resale and entry flows, combined with manual review where automated signals are inconclusive.

We do not publish detection thresholds, rules or internal review criteria.

Reporting

Guests, venues and organizers will be able to report issues through the platform. Reports are being designed to route into a review workflow with secure evidence handling and a recorded outcome.

Urgent safety situations should always be directed to local emergency services first.

Privacy

QLICA is being designed to collect what a given flow requires and no more, with verification data handled through providers built for that purpose.

See the Privacy page for how information is intended to be collected, used and retained.

Responsible Data Handling

Access to sensitive records is being designed around scoped permissions, logging and retention limits.

QLICA does not publish internal security architecture, provider configurations or operational security rules.
